Many Blessings for Moving Into Autumn!

Can you believe that summer is over on Sept. 20th!? So many changes this year, so many areas of stuckness. I have had an unusual number of people on my table who have been in overwhelm. Below, are some suggestions to help you with feelings of concern, anxiety, anger, disgust, helplessness, fear, and worry.

Walking at nightWALK: Walking organizes the brain, increases oxygen flow and if you are walking in a park beach, someplace pretty and out of doors it will calm the spirit and body. If you are in my neighborhood and want company call me. I might be available 562-433-7395 for a walk.

EAT WELL: Fuel your body wisely! Processed, dry, white foods, sugars, alcohol, caffeine, chocolate (sorry to say) will INTENSIFY the negative feelings. Eat fresh, whole, wet foods like veggies and fruit. I know. That leaves most comfort foods on the way side. Comfort foods deaden more than comfort.

3-FINGER SPECIAL: Emotions getting you down? Loops of nagging thoughts, day or night mares spoiling your positive outlook? Tears messing with your make-up? Are you scaring yourself with worry? Place the 3 middle fingers of each hand in the furrow that runs horizontally across the middle of your forehead. Focus on the bad thoughts: taste them, smell them hear them, feel them, visualize them. Keep your fingers on the forehead until the thoughts ease.

Now visualize, hear, smell, taste, and feel something nurturing and let that new feeling fill your cells with courage, hope, faith. The best place to do this is at a table for elbow support or in bed. If you think about it, all this icky stuff will pass. It is the Law: This too shall pass. If this doesn’t work come in and let’s use Emotional Release Techniques (ERT) to free you.


Natural and Homeopathic Remedies

I like to use homeopathic remedies. Arnica 30C for mental or physical shock Phosphorus 30C for the ghosts of the past, speechlessness, aloneness Calms Forte by Hylands for most anything. Ignatia Amara 30C for grief or upset Hypericum 30C for injured nerves. Read the instructions. You can Google homeopathic followed by your symptom and see what comes up. Most serious health food stores have homeopathics or talk to me via E or 562-433-7395

BACH FLOWER REMEDIES:
Grose: Hopelessness and despair
Mimulus for specific and known fear
Mustard or the dark cloud of gloom or despair for no known reason.
Red Chestnut excessive worry about family, friends or your health.
Rock Rose for panic, hysteria, terror, fright, nightmares (a sluggish gall bladder can cause these).
Walnut for periods of transition and change.

Oh! There is that word! Change! Yes! Change it up. Go a different direction to work, change the habits!, change! Clean out the closets, pictures, and address book.

Prayers and Affirmations

When I feel most lost and helpless to solve a problem or help a condition I use this prayer:

The lift of God surrounds us;
The love of God enfolds us;
The Power of God protects us;
The presence of God watches over us;
Where ever we are, God is!

You can change the words for God and you can use me, you, them in the place of us.

I also use this affirmation:

God knows, God Shows me know.
God makes no mistakes and God doesn’t make junk.
God knows and God shows me now.


It Is Time Get Moving, Get Going

With all of the energy changes, it is time get moving, get going.  Volunteer, take a class get adjusted, do a forgiveness process, read a helpful book, sort out the stuff that doesn’t work anymore, check your shoe size and buy a pair of comfortable supportive shoes. Feet and shoes are your foundation. Support them well. Buy new underwear or bedding, get a teddy bear to snuggle with or adopt a pet who very much needs you and your love. Lather love lavishly on yourself, your pets, your friends and family.
