While performing your duty, expect neither approval nor disapproval. Do your work with the utmost love.
This love alone will attract grace, and all that you do will become the
worship of God. You will see you own self in this worship.

April, 2006

Please Vote on April 11th.  I will off that day volunteering as a poll worker. This is the first time I have done this. It has been quite educational. A lot of work goes into making the voting process run smoothly. Enjoy your opportunity to choose your leaders.

OPEN DOOR is Saturday, April 15, 10-1
This is quick head to toe traditional feel-good chiropractic adjusting. NO APPOINTMENT is necessary. Just show up, place your shoes in the shoe basket, write out your pink slip and have your $40 cash or check fee ready for the purple kitty, empty your pockets and be ready to feel good. I take hugs as tips. If you are a new patient, you have to go through the new patient exam and process. You can schedule an appointment by calling 800-710-3450.

A reminder: please leave your perfume and other smell 'ems at home. I am allergic to several of them and many of my clients in allergy treatment react negatively to them. A big thank you!

You can leave your cell phone, pagers, etc. in your car or turn them off in the office. They interfere with the muscle testing process. Since I use muscle testing to determine treatment I don't want anything around that messes with the answers. Should you be waiting for a client you can go outside or to your car. A bigger thank you!

New clients may call the gang at the scheduling service at 800-710-3450 for a one hour exam appointment. I have new patient hours available so your referrals are appreciated. By the way you do not have to tell your story to the scheduling service. All they need to know is when you want an appointment and for how long: one or more hours. Hour fee is $175.

Appointments are available!
I have met many new and wonderful persons lately. Welcome aboard. Thank you to all of you who have referred your family, friends and enemies to the office. Yes, the schedule has been full. You might want to call ahead to assure yourself an appointment. You can always ask to be put of a waiting list. 'Cept for a day off here and there I am in town until June. I do charge full price for missed appointments.

Please share the web site www.centerforhealinglife.com  You can always check the schedule on the site or pick up the newsletter. There is even an archive of past newsletters.

A client introduced me to Mary's Gone Crackers, which are organic and gluten free. Gluten is a protein in many grains that runs havoc in the sinuses, and digestive system. Next to dairy it is the worst cause of gas, bloat digestive upset.

Psychology Today magazine listed ten foods that nourish the brain. They are blueberries, dark leafy veggies, olive oil (it's also an anti-inflammatory) purple grapes, whole fresh grains and brown rice, unsweetened cocoa, almonds and walnuts, garlic and Yup, Popeye was right! Eat your Spinach.

Walking at least 30 minutes a day increases blood to the brain. A quart of water for every 50 pounds of weight will keep your blood thin to circulate easily through the body and clean out toxins. Massage the cuticles on your hands and feet to feed and balance your acupuncture system. Get adjusted 1-2 times a month.

I try to get adjusted once a week because my job is physical and often I hear about very stressful situations. I missed a few weeks and I really noticed how lousy I felt. Ya know, this stuff works really well.

Many blessings and see you soon
