PET PEEVES ABOUT PETS AND LITTLE PEOPLE…
Wow, I feel gnarly, annoyed, itchy bitchy today. So I am going to share some of my pet peeves. If you have a dog and a bicycle DO NOT take your dog for a run, especially if the dog is not used to such activity. Before you run a dog, try running the same distance barefoot yourself and notice how your muscles and joints feel. Notice how thirsty you feel and how your feet feel. A dog doesn’t deserve any of that.
Dogs are burst runners. In other words they have a burst of speed for a short, short time. Yes, there are dogs that have been trained since puppyhood to jog with their owners or to run the Iditarod. We are not talking about those dogs.
If a dog is barking more than a few woofs then something is wrong and it needs to be handled, especially in Long Beach which has strict barking laws for both indoor and outdoor dogs.
Solar storm activity can cause a person to be gnarly, impatient and low energy. Currently our sun is in its solar maximum, meaning it is very active with storms. The nice thing about solar storm activity is we get great northern and southern lights.
Back to my pet peeves. Girly headbands on babies. Cute? No. Babies need to have free movement in their cranium (head) with their respiratory (breathing) system to develop their brains. Putting a restrictive band on their head is not a cute or good idea. (It takes only the weight of a nickel to stop the cranial flow.) Neither is feeding juice in a baby bottle, or giving a kid a ‘reward’ of sugar.
Sugar metabolism diseases are the number three cause of death, number one cause of blindness and amputations due to disease and results in 60% of Americans being overweight or obese. Find something else to reward children or yourself.
BODY DETECTIVE
A technique, that I use, called Total Body Modification or TBM addresses cranial movement, learning issues especially with reading, eye issues, sugar metabolism issues and about 435 other lesions in the neurophysiology of the body. Those of you who get adjusted know that I start by balancing the eyes, hearing, speech, ease and grace in body movement, cross brain function, and shock. Then we look at what the respiratory, lungs, diaphragm, ribs systems are doing. The viscera like gall bladder, liver, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, small and large intestine and bladder are checked out. The pubs, sacroiliac or SI joints are next as are the upper and lower extremities. After all that, we get to check the SSD, hormones, water use, meridians, chakras and if there is time we go after the emotional neuro-physiology, Tsing points on the cuticles. Posture. It all makes for a busy hour of work for both of us.

PUT DOWN THAT ASPIRIN AND CALL ME IN THE MORNING
There is a new disease, well several new diseases are introduced daily, unfortunately. This one is AERD or Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease. The Journal Allergy Clin. Immunol 2015 issue talked about how aspirin increases the chance of asthma, respiratory challenge and runny nose. Who knew!? I would guess that people who have COPD, asthma need to stop using aspirin and get adjusted instead to eliminate the pains, headaches, lung issues. Chiropractic adjustments have become famous for eliminating respiratory issues. It is why the ribs and diaphragm are checked every visit. Current research say aspirin is not an effective hearth care method. In Fact aspirin increases bleeding.
